Inaugural Kanwa tho Vigil Weekend!
Brothers - In the past, most of us have completed our Vigil during one of our Fellowship, Conclave or Fix-it events. Remembering back to your experience, you may recall that much of your "day after" was taken up either sleeping or very tired from the previous evening's events. This may not have allowed you to fully take part in the lodge events on that weekend and this year we aim to change that.
The Vigil Weekend is a three-fold event. It is intended to be a fellowship event for Vigil members, a service event for camp and an opportunity for us to initiate our 2025 Vigil class.
Here are the rough details for the event:
Friday April 4
5:30 - 7 pm - Arrival / Set-up
7 pm - Dinner
9 pm - Crackerbarrel
10 pm - Pre-Vigil Ceremony
Saturday April 5
6:30 am - Vigil Ceremony
7:30 am - Breakfast
8:30 - Noon - Service Projects / New Vigil initiates & Ceremonalists sleep
12:30 pm - Celebration Luncheon
Cost:
2025 Vigil Class - Free
All other Vigil Members - $20
For planning purposes, REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE on Wednesday March 26th
All participants must bring a COPY of their health form (Parts A and B) to be submitted at check-in. Per State law, health forms will not be returned.
Remember: as with your Ordeal and Brotherhood, your Vigil was an honor bestowed upon you not solely because of the work that you had done but also because of the work you were to do in the future. Please consider joining us to welcome our 2025 Vigil class.
