Lodge Key 3

 

 
The lodge Key 3 consists of the lodge chief, lodge adviser and lodge staff adviser. These three Arrowmen help to ensure that lodge officers and committees successfully carry out the operations of the lodge.

Lodge Chief

Kadyn Barsch

Kadyn is a Vigil Honor member of the Wikiak Sabbeleu Chapter and is affiliated with Troop 222 and Crew 595. Prior to his election as Lodge Chief, he served in several leadership roles, including Vice Chief of Operations, Vigil Honor Chair, and Chapter Chief. An Eagle Scout, Kadyn currently serves as President of Crew 595 and recently served as a Troop Guide for NYLT (National Youth Leadership Training).

He has participated in the 2023 National Jamboree and the 2024 National Order of the Arrow Conference, and he will head to Philmont in the summer of 2025 as part of the OA Trail Crew.

Kadyn is currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering at the University of Wisconsin–Platteville. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly camping, hiking, and fishing.


Lodge Adviser

Vicki Dubis

Vicki has been an active member of the Order of the Arrow since completing her Ordeal in 1997. She was honored with Vigil in 2003. In Kanwa tho Lodge’s ten years, Vicki has given service to the lodge by co-advising the inductions committee and most recently as the chapter adviser for Eluwak.
 
Vicki has been involved in Scouting for over 30 years. She has worn many unit, district, and council hats with positions ranging from Cubmaster to district training chair to Wood Badge staff and she has had the privilege of running many district events. She is currently a committee member of Troop 595B and Troop 595G in West Allis. She also is a member of the Aurora District Eagle advancement committee, working with many prospective Eagle Scouts. Vicki has been a recipient of the District Award of Merit, the Silver Beaver, and the Order of the Arrow Founder's Award.
 
With graduate studies in Art Therapy from Mount Mary and graduate studies in an MA in Urban Education, Vicki has an educational background that supports understanding youth growth and development. As an educator and a Registered Art Therapist, Vicki has had many years of experience working with youth.
 
Scouting and family keep Vicki and her husband, Michael busy. When not participating in Scouting adventures, Vicki enjoys gardening, traveling, canoeing or kayaking, and spending time with grandchildren.


Staff Adviser

Cory Weber

Cory serves as the district director for the Aurora District. Cory’s career background includes working in research and development, project management, finance, and sales. 
 
Cory grew up in Troop 314 in Franklin, Wisconsin and rose to the rank of Life Scout.  A second-generation Scoutmaster, Cory has also served as an assistant Scoutmaster, troop committee member, and pack committee member. He is passionate about getting Scouts to look up at the stars and the trees around them, learning to believe in themselves, and leading others. 
 
Cory and his wife, Jill, have three children and three enormous dogs. Cory enjoys camping, canoeing, kayaking, weightlifting, mountain biking, and hiking.
